Close up of the Tudor building exterior with timber frames. Eric Maple addresses a group of women. Eric Maple shows women the building and they all go inside. Anglia TV reporter John Swinfield interviews Eric Maple. Maple says they have visited Great Bealings in Suffolk and recalls a story of bells ringing which is presumed to be the work of ghosts. Maple claims to have discovered poltergeists on the premises at The Bull Inn. Swinfield asks Maple if he believes in ghosts. What advice can he give to people who have encountered a ghost. Maple responds, “with respect”. He advises, the ghost cannot speak until spoken to. Maple says he specialises in witches. The two speak about the effect that joining the Common Market might have on ghostly incidents in the UK. Is East Anglia rich in the supernatural? Tremendously so. Maple says he is very busy running ghost tours. He hopes to do something about “Black Shuck”, the demon dog in Norfolk. Maple says there are few houses not haunted and that poltergeists are everywhere. When Maple dies will he come back as a spirit? He hopes so.
