Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother arrives at the ABC Cinema on Prince of Wales Road in Norwich to attend the local premiere of 'The Go-Between', an adaptation of an L.P. Hartley novel starring Julie Christie, Alan Bates, Margaret Leighton and Michael Redgrave, directed by Joseph Losey and adapted for the screen by Harold Pinter. Walking into the foyer, the Queen Mother greets various officials and dignitaries, as a large crowd assembles outside the cinema. As the screening draws nearer, those attending move into the auditorium, followed by the Queen Mother, who ascends the stairs up to her seat in the circle.
