Judy Finnigan interviews chief judge Fanny Cradock about her expectations from the young competitors. She discusses what she perceives is a low standard of cooking in schools. Some of the contestants are interviewed about their experience of cooking, reasons for their interest in cooking, and their culinary ambitions for the future.
