A report on the music and Christian faith at the first Greenbelt Festival
A duo sing and play guitar in front of an audience in a marquee, who clap along to the music. Geoff Druett reports. The camera pans to show a group of people reclining in a field, listening to a group on a temporarily erected stage. The duo in the marquee finish their song. Druett interviews two men who comment on the aim of the Greenbelt Festival to show the world at large what is going on in Christian media, and the split between the arts that they hope to close. They discuss the freedom at the festival, and deny the appearance of Christian sects. A group sits in a circle, singing and acting out a song while one man plays the guitar. One of those in the group is interviewed and says how he used to be a drug-user, but got clean after finding his faith. Several other young people discuss what their Christian faith means to them. There is a close-up of another band playing on the stage.
