Madame Duquenne-Creton, a French resistance heroine who sheltered the only survivors of the Le Paradis Massacre is greeted along with son Victor, in Norwich, by one of the survivors Bill O’Callaghan. Madame Duquenne-Creton is entertained to dinner by the Royal Norfolk Regiment Old Comrades Association and Dunkirk Veterans' Association. Bill O’Callaghan shows Madame Creton and son Victor around the grounds of Norwich Castle. Taking a seat on a bench in the grounds, John McGregor for Anglia TV interviews Madame Creton. Her replies are spoken in French.

Background Information
Pte William O’Callaghan, from Dereham, and London-based Pte Albert Pooley were the two sole survivors of the Le Paradis Massacre in May 1940, when 100 men of the Norfolk Regiment were shot by the Germans. After the SS had gone Pte O’Callaghan found Pte Pooley among the bodies and carried him 200 yards to the pigsty before they were discovered by the farm’s owner, Madame Duquenne-Creton, and her son Victor.
