Summer punting on the river between Godmanchester and Huntingdon.

Mrs Patricia Rockall manoeuvres a wooden punt away from a mooring. She wears a white embroidered smock with full sleeves and bell bottom trousers. The boat has a steering wheel in front of a box which might house an engine. A view of boat wake on the river suggests something speedier than a quanted punt. Mrs Rockall alights at a mooring opposite a boatyard, takes her white wide-brimmed hat and plaited straw bag and walks across a car park to go shopping.
