A group of young girls queue up and sing to audition for Annie

Attending an audition, a large queue of young girls and their families wait patiently outside St. Andrews Hall. A girl twirls her baton and the crowd claps. A line of girls are counted in and sing Happy Birthday. One girl is brought out to sing individually. Reporter Christine Webber begins to do a can-can style dance, and some of the girls in the queue join in. She then interviews a couple of the girls about their acting experience and why they are auditioning. Inside the hall, another girl sings on her own. Peter Walker teaches a small group of girls and some dance choreography. Christine asks him what kind of girls he is looking for for the show. The camera pans across a large group of girls waiting inside to audition, who wave at the camera. Footage shows the queue outside moving forward and entering the hall.
