An ITV report on an exhibition of sunbeds and saunas, presented by Tony Adams. It is an emerging business, the growing popularity of which Adams puts down to the effect of ‘unreliable’ British summers. Footage of the exhibition hall – showing off the sunbeds and related equipment. Kaj Jenson from the exhibition is interviewed by Adams. Jenson shows Adams a sauna at the exhibition. Jenson is keen to emphasise that a sauna is not a luxury, but can in fact be found in an increasing number of homes, despite Adams' belief that such a facility might conflict with the ‘traditional British reserve’. The report ends with shots of models in bikinis using the sunbeds.
