Stuart Jarrold reports for Anglia Television on the Ipswich Town v Manchester City FA Cup semi-final football match in 1981.

At the Aston Villa ground Villa Park in Birmingham, football fans cheer in the stadium and a close up of the score board shows Manchester City 0 - Ipswich Town 0. Fans wearing Ipswich Town football kits and scarves stand behind the barrier. Reporter Stuart Jarrold talks to Ipswich Town player Kevin Beattie about his broken arm. Another close up of the score board shows Manchester City 1 - Ipswich Town 0. Ipswich Town football manager Bobby Robson leaves the pitch shaking his head while the Ipswich players also leave the pitch. Manchester City's John Bond waves as the crowd chants and cheers. Stuart Jarrold interviews John Bond who says that unless Bobby can lift the Ipswich Town team up then they are going to be in all sorts of trouble and the league may be out of their grasp. Ipswich Town player Mick Mills is interviewed saying that Ipswich Town dominated the game and that it’s still open as long as they don’t lose the next match on Tuesday.
