Anglia TV sports news; Gerry Harrison interviews Norwich City football player Roger Gibbins.

Players are heard shouting as Norwich City football player Roger Gibbins runs across the pitch and kicks the ball. The Norwich team are training on the pitch wearing their football kits. Roger Gibbins voices over that he started at Tottenham as an apprentice straight from school and was there for four years. He then went to Oxford for a season before being transferred to Norwich City. Football commentator Gerry Harrison interviews Gibbins, asking him about the transfers that have taken place at Norwich and how it has affected him. Gibbins replies that he tries not to let it affect him and concentrates on his game. The Norwich football Club training pitch can be seen in the background while the interview is taking place. Harrison comments on how much progress Gibbins has made this season and the spectacular goals he has scored. He asks which aspects of his game he is working on at the moment, to which Gibbins replies that scoring more and being more aggressive on the pitch are what they’re focusing on in training. Harrison asks which areas Gibbins has been pleased with in his progress this season. Gibbins replies that his heading and his all round game has come on this season. Both Gibbins and Harrison laugh as he says he needs to work on more ‘scrappy goals.’

Roger Gibbins (b. 6 September 1955) is an English former professional footballer. He joined Norwich City in June 1976 on a free transfer. He played in the 1977–78 season as a regular and then left Norwich in 1978 after 12 goals in 48 games.
