An attempt to set a world record by flying 72 kites simultaneously.

In the grounds of Stanford Hall, a man flies a kite in the form of an array of red planes looping the loop together. Another man tries to fly a tiny kite. A long row of people stand side by side holding identical kites which are transparent plastic, decorated with the design of a plane with stripy wings. A man pulls on the cords and the long array of kites rises into the sky with tails dangling. This was an attempt to set a new world record as Tom Chapman pulled the 72 kites into the air.

Stanford Hall is a stately home in Leicestershire, near the village of Stanford-on-Avon (which is in Northamptonshire) and the town of Lutterworth, Leicestershire.
