In South Lincolnshire, hardy naked water skiers celebrate Christmas.

On open water, three waterskiers are towed behind a speedboat until one drops into the water. On land, three naked men (one wears a swimhat) emerge from a building with a ski held horizontal to preserve their modesty. On rough ground, they tread gingerly past the camera and approach the water’s edge showing the tan lines around their bottoms. Back on the water, a woman skiing topless waves to the camera. In the next shot a speedboat approaches, towing the three men who wave as they pass by.

Background Information

There is no obvious Christmas content in this story, but it was broadcast on Anglia TV news on 28 December 1983 as ‘water skiers take to the water for Christmas’.
