Anglia TV news item; Norwich City Football Club leave Norwich Thorpe Station heading for Sheffield, and Interview with skipper Ron Ashman.
The Norwich football team leaves Norwich Thorpe station carrying suitcases and smiling at the camera. They get onto the train to go to the game against Sheffield while the conductors wave them off. Footballer Ron Ashman is interviewed saying that Norwich has had a fair bit of success this season against first division side Ipswich. He rates Sheffield in the same class as Ipswich as a footballing side and so is going to play them in the same way. He thinks Norwich have the ability and the fight, with emphasis on fight, to go and beat Sheffield.

Background Information
Ronald George Ashman (19 May 1926 – 21 June 2004) was an English professional footballer and football manager. Born in Whittlesey, Cambridgeshire, he spent his entire playing career with Norwich City and was later their manager. He went on to manage Scunthorpe United and Grimsby Town.
