Farmer has technology to receive US satellite images to assist in weather prediction.

On a wet day during a wet summer, Henry Neale drives a tractor up to his house. Aerials and wires are attached to the chimney. His hobby is amateur electronics and inside his home he has a room full of technical equipment. He can receive USA satellite images from the weather satellite NOAA 9 which was launched in 1984. By viewing the changing images on a monitor he can study the weather trends. This helps him predict weather affecting his farming business. Anglia TV reporter Andrew Blow interviews Henry about the benefits of having up to date weather information for his specific location for short term as well as longer term forecasts. He can respond faster when weather is critical. This short video was made to be shown in a news story on Anglia Television early evening news / magazine programme About Anglia.
