Nigel Brendish makes the Channel crossing upside down in his modified plane in order to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Research

31 year old Nigel Brendish makes the crossing of the English Channel in his modified plane 'Chipmunk' upside down in order to raise thousands of pounds for research into Muscular Dystrophy. Taking just 15 minutes to reach Dover from Calais, he commemorates the first Channel crossing 72 years earlier. The commentator explains how Brendish found that the flight was not too difficult, and that he is used to such acrobatics, having been a stunt pilot in the latest James Bond film.
