This film opens with field scenes of a man wearing a cap cutting mustard using a sickle. He ties the mustard stalks into bundles using pieces of twine kept hanging from a length tied around his waist. The second scene shows the camera panning, looking towards Ely and showing Ely Cathedral in the background. The third scene shows three men all cutting mustard using a sickle.
