A new type of motor cruiser-cum-houseboat advertised as a possible permanent home.

At Wroxham, a family join their boat which has the appearance, both inside and out, of a floating caravan. They start the engine and disembark, waving to the designer, Donald Hagenbach. There are shots of the family on board. There are views of the Broad from the boat and of the boat on the broads. There are interior views of the boat. The family have a meal on deck.

The British Pathe catalogue entry states that the woman seen is Penny Hagenbach, daughter of Donald Hagenbach who designed the boat and is seen waving goodbye. The younger man is Nevill Blake and the children are Wyn and Kim Blake.
