Carnival scenes at Needham Market.
The opening shots show the Carnival assembling at the start of their route. The streets are decorated and there are people in fancy dress. A band leads the procession through the streets. There is a Carnival Queen and floats, including one along the theme of The Pirates of Penzance. There is also a steel band plying. Collectors are in fancy dress. Some people parade in fancy dress and on horseback. There are further shots of the band leading the procession and then a shot of the traffic building up behind. The final shots are of an ice skating demonstration in a recreation ground.
