Film showing the expertise of the mobile hospital unit at a staged emergency.
This film shows FAP (First Aid Post) men attending a 'casualty' at a staged emergency whilst crowds look on. They fetch a stretcher out of an ambulance. A nurse is present. The casualty is placed on the stretcher and then placed in the ambulance. Two more casualties are brought out of buildings and placed in a car. A gas drill is carried out. The FAP personnel change into protective suits and gas masks. They then continue to fetch casualties. As a second party is called to join the operation, a fleet of ARP ambulances and a coach are filmed travelling along the road. They set up ready for 'action' at the back of a substantial country house. Casualties are carried in and receive 'treatment'.
