The King of Belgium visits Colchester in 1938.
The first sequence shows the parade ground at Colchester barracks. The King receives the salute. There is a march past of troops before the King is introduced to some officers. He leaves by car and is cheered by a small crowd. The second sequence shows the Cavalry in the parade ground. There is a parade and a presentation of colours. There is a shot of the Standard flying over the parade ground and further parade ground scenes.
