This film consists of three unedited shots of the crowds on the promenade and beach at Clacton. The first shot shows crowds along the promenade. There are also people on the beach. Clacton Pier is in the background. The weather is poor, as people are wearing coats and hats. The second shot shows people sitting on the beach and children playing on the shoreline. The tide is in and few people have removed their coats. The third shot shows scenes of the boating lake with a variety of craft in use and crowds gathering on the side.
