A close-up of the Stowmarket road sign at Boulters Bridge, Stowmarket. The busy traffic heads through the town past the Regal cinema. An overhead shot of a car park where there are cars, coaches and a Co-operative van. A Salvation Army band marches down a street. A shot of Baxters Family Butchers and a large adjacent building, then Lloyds Bank and Stearn Bros Chemist on Market Place. The scene across the road shows Greens Stores and The Galleon Snack Bar. As a coach passes in front of camera, Combs Coaches Ltd can be seen on the side. More shops are featured: Dewhurst Butchers next to the International Stores; F.W. Woolworth & Co Ltd, beside a smaller shop named simply, Woolworth; Stead & Simpson Ltd; Cramphorn Ltd.; Tooks. William Turner Ltd. is just visible at the end of the sequence.
