A newsreel, locally produced and distributed, featuring George Formby, the Snettisham Iron Age Hoard, and country and western group, The Harmony Pioneers.
1. George and Beryl at the Speedway. George Formby and his wife visit Middleton Towers Speedway near King's Lynn. George meets Middleton's oldest inhabitant, and rides a lap around the course. The races are shown. In George's final speech he refers to the local newsreel he's appearing in, wishing it every success. 2. Snettisham Treasure Trove. The hoard of iron Age artifacts, found on the land of Sir Stephen and Lady Lycett Green, is carried out of their house at Ken Hill, Snettisham. There are close-ups of bracelets, rings, torcs, and tin and gold coins. 3.The Harmony Pioneers. A country and western group sing two songs. A bass player and an accordian player join them for 'She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain'.
