A freight train carries building materials for the construction site at Sizewell B power station.
At the Saxmundham signal box, Peter Punchard pulls off the points for the early morning freight train to continue up the branch line to Leiston. The class 37, diesel electric locomotive is pulling steel rods and cement destined for the construction site at Sizewell B power station. The journey is viewed from the driver's cab. The crew open and close the gates at two level crossings. At Leiston, the wagons are shunted into a siding and the crew has a break.
