Local television news item, without sound, contrasting the traffic congestion in Stanton with the free-flowing traffic on the by-pass.

Lorries and cars move slowly along the narrow road through the village of Stanton. On the by-pass, fast moving trucks, and a travelling view from the interior of a saloon car driven by a woman. On the relatively clear road, she is able to overtake a lorry with ease and also passes a work gang using a traction engine.
