Reedham Station converted to a day centre for old people by the Norfolk Old People's Welfare Committee.
The newsfilm begins with shots of Reedham Station with a diesel train pulling in. The commentary explains that the station itself is closed and that only 'pay as you enter' trains now stop here. The buildings have been turned into a day centre by the Norfolk Old People's Welfare Committee. Interior shots of the club where people sit playing cars, dominoes and bingo. Tea is served by volunteers. The commentary explains that they are planning to provide hot meals. At the end a group of ladies catch the train and leave, waving to the camera as they go.
