News reel of the Suffolk Show held at Bury St. Edmunds on Thursday, 7th June, 1928. It shows events in the Grand Ring. These include children riding ponies, the hunt, a heavy horse parade and show jumping. In the heavy horse parade, judges assess the horses. In the show jumping, horses are filmed jumping the water jump - or not as the case may be. There are shots of the spectators in the stands and at the rail. Some stands are filmed, showing agricultural implements.

14,000 people attended the Suffolk Show in 1928. There were 150 stands. 246 horses, 268 cattle and 183 sheep were displayed. In 1960 the Suffolk Show moved to a permanent site near Ipswich
