Sports day at Eversley House Preparatory School and general scenes in Southwold.

Two, possibly three, films that have been joined. The first film begins by showing Sports Day at Eversley House Preparatory School, Southwold. Shots include running races, the high jump and a three-legged race. It is a cold day. There are some shots taken at an LNER Station, possibly Halesworth. Here the family catch a train. A teenage boy is dressed in naval uniform. The next sequence is filmed at the Royal Naval College at Dartmouth. There follow various family scenes. Many include their numerous pets; a tortoise, a rabbit, two Siamese cats and a black moggie and a terrier. The family and their friends are filmed at a garden party and just generally sitting around in deck chairs. The maids in their uniforms are filmed individually and together, posing on the balcony. Two boys ride horses and there is a holiday sequence filmed on the dart estuary. The second film, of poor quality, returns to Southwold. There are interior shots showing a meal of some sort. The scene moves into the garden where the photographer experiments with reverse sequences. Back at the Royal Naval college there is film of the passing out parade. This is out of focus. On Southwold beach, people swim in the sea, dive from a raft, float in a dinghy and have tea. There are shots of a wedding reception held in a garden, with many shots of the bride and groom, the bridesmaids and other guests. The final shots are of Eversley School Sports Day. These are similar to those of the 1935 Sports Meeting seen in Eversley School Sports. The photographer experiments in slow motion pictures for the high jump and fast sequences for the obstacle race.
