A group wander through fields to the Broads where they spend time on a pleasure steamer.

A group crosses a turnip field, a stream and then rambles on across a corn field in what is possibly a walk in the Blickling Country Park. They leave the country park and the sequence continues around Blickling Hall. The front of the hall is shown and then various parts of the ground. Most attention is paid to the gardens, which included some peacocks, and there are close up shots of many of the flowers. There are also views of the lake and shots taken in the tea gardens. The final shot is of St. Andrew's Church. The main theme of the film is a trip aboard a pleasure steamer from Wroxham. This begins with shots of the exteriors of Roys many stores in Wroxham. The moorings and river are shown, with motor cruisers and sailing dinghies moving around. The next sequence is shot from a moving pleasure steamer. It shows the various boats, including all sizes of motor cruisers, sailing boats and rowing boats. Many people are filmed aboard their boats. The scenes as the steamer passes the bank show people about their everyday business. This includes a party taking tea on the bank. There are scenes of Horning showing the riverside houses, the Ferry Inn, a restored windmill and the Swan Hotel as well as many holiday craft and a water borne shop. There are shots of the Horning chain ferry, one of which shows a man in plus-fours disembarking his bicycle. There is a long sequence showing general river scenes at Horning, as well as the Bridge Inn at Potter Heigham. The Final views include quanting, fishing and a sunset over Sheringham.
