Fishermen from the Smith family at Southwold.
The first reel shows a group of fishermen on the beach at Southwold shaking sprats from their nets. The three shots show various angles of this. Some include a shot of Southwold Pier in the background, others show the fishermen's huts on the beach and a tractor used for hauling up the boats. A sequence on the end of the first reel of film shows an overhead shot of the fishermen overhauling their nets aboard their boat.The second reel begins with this shot before showing further scenes of the fishermen shaking out their nets.
