Sixty years following its inception, Anglia Television production Anything Goes celebrates the traditional fish and chips of Harry Ramsden's.

Pam Rhodes presents a nostalgic history of the most famous 'chippy' of them all: Harry Ramsden's. In the bustling restaurant floor of the chip shop in Guiseley, West Yorkshire diners take their seats. Rhodes opens the menu, which has apparently not changed since the restaurant opened its doors. Rhodes gives her order and a montage ensues of food being prepared in the kitchens and diners enjoying their meals. Exterior shots of St Oswald's church and coach loads of visitors arriving at the restaurant. Rhodes interviews two enthusiastic diners who have travelled from Knoxville, Tennessee to sample the food, and with Jimmy Savile, who describes Harry Ramsden as one of the great local characters. More shots of food being prepared and diners tucking into their supper. Black-and-white footage follows from the 21st birthday parade for restaurant's opening in 1952. Savile comments on the consistency of the cuisine noting "the chips are still brown, the sauce is still brown, the vinegar is still brown."
