BBC Look East footage of Stamford Army Cadets doing military-style training.

A group of teenagers, Stamford Army Cadets, in military-style uniform on motorcycles do laps under instruction on a training area surrounded by Nissen huts. The young men are put through their paces on an army-style assault course, and supervised by cadet sergeants. The obstacle course includes climbing a wall, a rope swing across water, balancing along a narrow rail and a tunnel in the ground while missiles produce water spray and smoke. At the end, a cadet views a blackboard of timings. This film was transmitted to accompany a BBC East news story as part of the regional news broadcast.
