Road Traffic Underpass for School Children
1960 , Kesgrave (Suffolk)
Cat no. 224255
BBC Look East report on a new pedestrian underpass.
Situated just north of Ipswich, the town of Kesgrave suffers from heavy traffic, which can prove difficult for pedestrians, particularly students, who need to cross the busy main road. To alleviate the situation, local authorities have constructed a new pedestrian underpass near the Kesgrave Modern School to cater for foot and bicycle traffic and allow motor vehicles to continue moving unimpeded.
