A BBC Look East mute news report surveying damage caused by storms across Suffolk.

In Ipswich, a group of men work to clear the road of mud and gravel, left behind by flash flooding. Elsewhere in the town, firemen use their equipment to pump water out of basements, whilst county borough appliances do the same at Friars Inn on Princes Street. Moving to the outskirts of the town, the report shows houses on Dumbarton Road which sustained roof damage during the violent storm. Further inland at Bury St Edmunds, a greyhound circuit has been turned into a lake by rising waters, with the track, spectator areas and equipment shown submerged. A gentleman looks on in despair, but thankfully the weather spared a trio of greyhounds housed on site. The report concludes with a shot of a car driving through the shallow floodwaters which still cover some roads.
