BBC Look East report on the establishment of a puppet theatre in Norwich.

Tony Scase reports from St. James Church in Norwich, which is being converted into a puppet theatre. At an open day, puppeteers and theatre founders Ray and Joan DaSilva introduce two young girls to some of the characters from their production of Alice in Wonderland. An official involved in the project discusses the reasons for establishing a puppet theatre in Norwich, which he believes will be able to accommodate a full range of puppet techniques in a specially adapted building with an intimate atmosphere. Ray DaSilva is also interviewed, talking about the establishment of the theatre as the fulfillment of a lifelong ambition and discussing the kinds of audiences they hope to attract.

Background Information
