Diabetic children tidy their canvas tents before lining up for lunch at Culford Diabetic Camp. Their food intake is monitered by one of the attending adults. The camp matron outlines the problems with looking after diabetic children on a camp, such as watching insulin levels and food consumption. Nevertheless, Mr Thompson, the man in charge of the camp, believes firmly that camping is suitable and enjoyable for all children.
