BBC Look East footage of the opening of the annual King's Lynn Mart Fair.

Crowds of people have gathered in the centre of Kings Lynn to watch the Mayoral procession and speech [mute] to mark the opening of the King’s Lynn Mart Fair. Many of the dignitaries at the ceremony, including the Mayor, have a go at the fairground games, including the shooting gallery and bingo, and fairground rides including a rollercoaster. This film, surviving without sound, was transmitted to accompany a BBC East news story as part of the regional news broadcast.
