[Boulton & Paul at the Great Yorkshire Show]

late 1950 , Harrogate (North Yorkshire)

Boulton & Paul visit the Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate.

As traffic piles into the Great Yorkshire Showground on the outskirts of Harrogate, visitors make their way to the gates. Inside, the showground there are stalls, displays, exhibitions and demonstrations. Various views of the showground reveal a large structure built to house an exhibition by Norwich-based firm Boulton & Paul. In and around the structure are displays of various Boulton & Paul products, from chain-link fencing and wire products, to ladders, gates and pre-fabricated buildings. Away from the Boulton & Paul stand, there are further shots of the Great Yorkshire Show, including the larger permanent pavilions, sheep-shearing demonstrations and the grandstand and arena, where horse trials are underway.
