1907

A short by Hertfordshire film pioneer Arthur Melbourne-Cooper.

Fiction comedy short. A pair of legs stick out of thin ice beside a sign warning of the dangers. With a rope and ladder obtained, a reluctant policeman is coerced into staging a rescue effort. Reaching the end of the ladder, he pulls on the legs only to discover that they are fake, before being subjected to a barrage of snowballs at the hands of local children.
