A BBC Look East report from a record-breaking jamming session with young musicians in Bury St Edmunds.
Young musicians – two bass players, a drummer and percussionists, members of the psychedelic rock group ‘Smoke’ – have for several days been playing their instruments continuously, hoping to raise money for a charity. Despite their tiredness and testing their endurance to the limits, the young musicians are determined to keep going and break the record for the longest jamming session. A band representative explains that every hour, day or night, a member of the public has signed the register, confirming their continuous play.
