Unedited film shot on a sunny day at a festival of classic racing cars, drivers and enthusiasts. Stirling Moss stands beside a red racing car similar to a 1954 model he used to drive. An interviewer asks about his memories of driving this type of car, and he recalls racing at Monaco, Monza and Nürburgring. Asked about driving these classic cars now, he says it brings back happy memories of the 1950s and the emotional moment as the chequered flag is waved and God Save The Queen is played. He shows the controls in the car cockpit. Other cars are revving noisily, and being prepared for the race. Owners and engineers are tinkering with engines. Besides the JCB car and team behind Stirling Moss, cars are emblazoned with Barry Simpson Engineering, and Air Anglia. People picnic and chat, photographs are taken, and a child polishes a car. The cars begin to move towards the racing area, lining up and then moving out onto the racetrack. Stirling Moss puts on his helmet. The cars line up for the start of the race. After scenes of the various cars during the race, competitors are seen leaving the track as the race ends. A presentation is made to the winner who sets off on a lap of honour riding on a platform on the back of a car. Stirling Moss explains that he lost time because he managed to spin on a patch of oil on the track. He says he has another three or four races coming up, but needs to find a car to continue racing classics. He signs more autographs for fans.
