Three sequences of street scenes shot in Westminster during the 1930s. The exact date of the film is not known. Shots in Whitehall include street scenes taken from an upper storey window in Parliament Street of the Cenotaph and Whitehall in one direction and of Westminster Abbey and Parliament Square in reverse; an elderly man leaves a building, possibly in Parliament Street, addresses the camera in close up before a chauffeur/ taxi driver opens a car door for him; a mounted policeman rides by the Cenotaph; Eunice Alliott buys flowers from an elderly female street flower seller, close up flower seller, Eunice returns to talk with the woman; horse guards on duty and possibly in the building at Horse Guards Parade. Shots close by Trafalgar Square include: the Square and the National Gallery; the Thames looking at the South Bank towards County Hall; the camera pans eastwards along Thames, a tug pulls barges; on the north bank of Thames passers-by look at the activities of a pavement artist; at the statue of Charles I, St Martins in the Field and Admiralty Arch traffic is observed; a policeman directs traffic Admiralty Arch; a man and girl feed pigeons at Trafalgar Square. Shots near Buckingham Palace include the movement of traffic near the Victoria Memorial, the fountains and monument, a tilt shot to statue of Victoria, the movement of traffic on The Mall, a military band marches past Buckingham Palace.
