Animated cartoon story about unrequited love and the creative impulse.
Animation. A musician and and an artist have their love rejected, but unrequited love spurs them on to greater artistic achievement. The young woman who spurns the artist's affections in favour of another man marries and has many children. The artist, however is given an exhibition where he sells his works of large paintings of roses, and the musician performs at a well-received concert in the Royal Albert Hall.
