Cat no. 3318
A mischievous child enjoys a destructive Christmas.
Comedy. Parents put up a Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, they decorate it and wrap up presents. As they work the husband has several beers. The couple retire to bed very tired in the early hours of the morning. At 8.30 on Christmas morning their young son comes downstairs clutching his gollywog and starts to unwrap the presents, dismantle the crackers, and spill some Yardley's powder (present for mother) over a reel of film (present for father). He shakes the tree to dislodge a present at the top and finally saws off the branches of the tree. His parents eventually wake up and come downstairs. He is spared a spanking from his mother as father points out it is Christmas Day.
