A young girl finds a parcel of old white £5 notes.
Drama. A young man, who is being followed, throws a parcel over a bridge into the river. Daisy, walking along the river with her parents, picks it up. Her parents walk on ahead talking of how hard up they are. Daisy carries the parcel home (a large house overlooking the River Thames), and is told by her parents to put it in the dustbin which she does. Later she takes the parcel out of the bin and takes it to her friend's house where she opens it and finds old, white £5 notes. Daisy takes a note and runs to her home where she knocks on the window and waves it her parents but they are still talking of money difficulties and tell her to go away. Daisy goes to a shop and buys sweets, proffering a note in payment which the shopkeeper says he can't accept although he gives her a tube of Smarties. Later her parents walk along the shore speaking of how they wish they could find some money; Daisy and her friend meantime are making paper boats out of the notes and sailing them on the river.
