Animation. Crime Prevention film made for the Police Service, promoting the Good Neighbour Scheme.

Animation. Film detailing actions that householders may take under the Good Neighbour Scheme to make their homes more secure when unoccupied, notably when away on holidays. The film makes the point that occupied homes are fairly safe from intruders but that when the householder goes away on holiday, the unoccupied home may become a target for thieves. The householders in the film are all dogs and the villain is a cat. Using animated images, the film details signs that might alert thieves to an unoccupied property, such as deliveries of newspapers, milk and other goods, which remain outside the property. The film outlines the actions that may be taken under the scheme. A form that may be given to a neighbour, the precautions the householder can take before leaving and the role a good neighbour plays.
