A cruise along the coast of Norway.
A sea voyage along the Norwegian coast on the Polarlys, with stops en route including the ports of Vadsø, Tromsø, and Bergen. Sequences in the film include shots of the coastline from aboard the Polarlys; passengers disembarking from the ship and other passengers boarding the ship; people on the quayside; the activities of the crew in unloading goods from the ship and bringing items aboard; a visit onshore to a shed in which the heads of fish are being removed; a visit to Sami traders; a visit to a market in Tromsø [possibly]; Stuart Day disembarking and waving goodbye to the ship in Bergen.
