Digging in a garden at Cawston after discovery of an ancient pot.
Outside a bungalow at Cawston, women with spades start digging around a fence post as other men and women look on. Interesting pieces dug up are placed in a box and inspected. A different view shows the church and village in the background. The fence post and concrete base are removed leaving a deep hole. A shot of two women watching is spliced in upside down. A man continues digging within the hole.
