Scenes at Huntingdon bus station on a rainy November day

On a rainy November day Anglia Television filmed at Huntingdon bus station for a news item in response to a resolution by the Women's Institute calling for organised queuing. The camera captures the dilapidated state of the bus station buildings with roofing material lifted and torn. Posters advertise special excursion buses and a snack bar, and bicycles have been left against the wall. Passengers alight from a bus, wait for their bus to arrive, and climb aboard. People are seen gathered around the door of a bus in a disorganised way, and then a queue is shown moving aside as a bus arrives. The passengers of all ages wear a variety of rainwear including rainhats, raincoats and winter coats and hats. The camera closes in on one black man wearing a raincoat.
